The thicker the sponge the faster it is.
I guess your sponge is about 0.6 to 0.8mm and this will make the long pips quite a bit faster and at the same time less 怪.
Are you penholder or shakehander?
If you are using shakehand then Feint III is still ok (if you want to attack more).
But if you are penholder, I don't believe Feint III is good for penholder style.
