An endangered animal of Australia Thorny devil
It's defenses are it's spikes or 'thorns' and it shoots blood out of it's eyes (eww) to scare away predators becouse they'll think it's already dead. Other lizards with spines include the granite lizard(California Spiny Lizard) or a very common animal in the pet trade, the Bearded Dragon:)
